Contractors

All contractors and subcontractors must be approved using our Contractor Approval System before being employed by Shone Building for any work. Shone Building's objective is for contractors to be working to a satisfactory standard meeting all Company and legislative requirements.

Our Contractor Approval System

Through our Contractor Approval System, Shone Building aims to ensure all contractors:

• Comply with all relevant Health & Safety standards
• Provide a quality of workmanship that meets and/or exceeds our requirements
• Develop site-specific procedures relevant to site hazards and work activities at the site
• Hold and produce proof of any qualifications/certificates required to complete work of Shone Building
• Have valid and adequate insurance (minimum Employers Liability & Public Liability)

In addition to this each contractor must provide a minimum of 3 trade references, for which they have previously undertaken work.
